Melissa Valencia assists Dena Saunders and Machelle French in the morning Spruce toddler class and Ana Ramirez in the afternoon Canoe Birch preprimary (bilingual) class. Melissa was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and is currently living in Lafayette with her husband, two daughters Alina (4) and Arely (2) and is expecting. Her biggest hobby is taking pictures. "I cannot go anywhere without my camera because you never know what can show up and you need to capture it", says Melissa. She also enjoys listening to all kinds of music. Melissa is also very excited about the Montessori philosophy.
