How do you begin to create a “Montessori” environment in your home?  We can help!

You are your child’s first and most influential teacher.  You set the tone for your child's love of learning from the very start and it is you who bridges the gap between school and home.

Our teachers will demonstrate activities you can use to prepare your home environment to nurture your child’s independence.  From getting dressed in the morning, to preparing lunch or snack, to cleaning up and putting away toys - you will get hands-on presentations to help you help your child to “do it myself.”

Soon your child will be pouring his own juice, chopping his own vegetables, and cleaning up his spills while you marvel at the confident and independent individual he has become!

Everyone who attends will also receive:

1. a photo book of activities, including those demonstrated

2. a goodie bag full of practical, child-sized materials to take home and use after the presentation

This event is open to the public but registration is required and limited to the first 36 families to sign up. There is a $25 supply fee per family for the take-home materials, with the option to add How to Raise an Amazing Child the Montessori Way by Tim Seldin for an additional $5. Childcare is available to all current MSGL students and their siblings ages 2 to 10.  The cost for childcare is $10 per child and includes age appropriate activities and pizza.  Reservations MUST be made for childcare. Once you have signed your child up for childcare, you will be billed. Food and staffing are based on registration numbers. Childcare cancellations must be made at lease 24 hours in advance of the event. Thank you for understanding.

Please register today online. Deadline to register is Friday, September 20th.

All events in the Montessori Explained Series qualify as part of the service hour requirement; up to a maximum of 6 hours.
