How You Can Get Involved
MSGL Past and Future

In 1972, a group of Lafayette, Indiana area parents joined together to create a Montessori preschool. The founders envisioned a parent-organized, board-run not-for-profit school. For more than thirty years, the Montessori School of Greater Lafayette (MSGL) has provided a quality educational experience for area families.

Our school has grown and matured through the efforts of dedicated individuals. As a not-for-profit school, we depend upon the support and commitment of parents. We encourage all families to participate. Volunteer activities include classroom participation, facility improvement, and management.

In 2001, MSGL moved to its permanent location on Soldiers Home Road. More than 150 children attended classes taught by Montesorri trained and certified staff. The school continues to be organized and operated by dedicated parents.

Lets continue to make MSGL a natural place to grow for our children!
