Angie Shamo, Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Angie Shamo is the program enhancement teacher in the Catalpa Pods Extended Day Kindergarten program. Angie grew up on a farm near Lake Michigan where she spent most days playing outside, riding horses and imagining with her brother. In 1998 she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Early Childhood Education and furthered this field of study by pursuing a Montessori Teaching Certificate in 2005.  Her oldest son is a MSGL Kindergarten graduate and her youngest son will be attending Suman’s Parent Infant classroom this fall.
