Lena Atkinson, Office Manager

Lena Atkinson is the Office Manager for Montessori School of Greater Lafayette. She started her career at MSGL in 2004 as an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler Program.  Lena then received her Birth to Age 3 Montessori Credential through MECA in Chicago. Along with her Montessori Credential, Lena also holds an Indiana State Teaching License.  Lena also has experience as an Assistant Teacher in the Afternoon Preprimary program with Judy West.  Lena's daughter, Cora Belle age 3, is attending the Morning Preprimary Program this year and her son, Ian age 10 months, helps her in the office.  Lena graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Computers. Lena's husband, Brett, is a software engineer at Antech, and they currently reside in the country outside of Fowler.  Lena also enjoys quilting, weaving baskets, working in her flower garden, and making hair bows for her daughter.

My Credentials

Lena attended Purdue University and has a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Computer Endorsement.  Lena holds an Indiana State Teaching License for grades 1-6 along with her Montessori Credential for ages Birth to Three.
