My husband and I are from The Netherlands. Where I received my bachelors degree in Human Resource Management. After my husband completed his Phd in 2003 he obtained a position in the school of Pharmacy at Purdue so we moved to West Lafayette. I applied for a work permit and readily started gaining work experience through a temp agency and had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of environments. The last position I held for a year was  in the claims department at State Farm Insurance.

Since starting our kids I have been a stay-at-home mom. We now have two beautiful daughters; Marissa who is five years old and is in Willow and Aneka who is three years old and is in River Birch. Both our kids love the school. It is amazing to see how they develop. Being a board member is a great opportunity to get more involved with their education and at the same time contribute to the growth and the development of the MSGL.
