My family has been a part of Montessori for 7 years. Benjamin Virata just completed Elementary I and Nicole Virata will be attending Elementary I this Fall. I am thankful the school is here, and I admire and respect the previous and current board members, families, and staff that have been critical in moving the school forward. I would like to remain a board member in order to do my part in helping MSGL succeed and grow. I have a BA and an MD degree, both from the University of Missouri. I trained in St. Louis, Chapel Hill, and Tampa to become an Ophthalmologist specializing in corneal transplantation and refractive surgery. My husband, Steve Virata, and I are in practice together in Lafayette.
